who we are

& what we do?

KMC SOUTHAMPTON is a special place of tranquillity, relaxation, reflection and friendship. It is home to an international Kadampa Buddhist community who share a similar wish to make their lives meaningful by finding lasting peace and happiness from within and helping others to do the same.

what do we offer?

& who is it for?

KMC Southampton  is open to the public and offers a variety of meditation classes from beginner’s classes to our in-depth classes. We also have  lunchtime classes and regular monthly events.

We offer beginners meditation – drop in classes, meditation one day and half day workshops, modern Buddhism retreats and Buddhist study programmes. We hold weekly meditation classes in Southampton and many other locations, from Totton to Winchester and as far East as Dorchester and Chichester. There is something for everyone – for both beginners and more experienced meditators alike.
