You are welcome to join us for this day course to understand the Buddhist path to peace.  Gen Tharpa, a monk with over 30 years of experience is visiting KMC Southampton to teach these profound and life-transforming universal truths.

In Sutra of the Four Noble Truths Buddha says, ‘You should know sufferings. You should abandon origins. You should practise the path. You should attain cessations.’

Gen Tharpa will help us to understand how to apply these profound instructions to the practice of meditation.  The Four Noble Truths encapsulate the entire path of meditation and practice, and guide us to attain supreme lasting inner peace. This day course will open your eyes to the depth of Buddhist practice revealing how we can find real and lasting inner peace within our own minds.

For thousands of years Buddha’s teachings have touched the hearts of many transforming their life into one of great meaning and benefit. The teachings are universally applicable and everybody everywhere can benefit from adopting aspects of the Buddhist way of life, such as compassion and non-harmfulness, to solve their daily problems, heal themselves and improve family relationships and move towards a higher purpose.
