Our bad habits are sources of suffering that often cause us to harm ourselves and others. We can feel helpless to change but Buddha teaches that bad mental habits, known as delusions, are temporary distortions in our thinking. By putting these teachings into practice we can gain the power to overcome our bad habits, giving us inner freedom and peace of mind.
In this meditation event we will learn to understand how:
- and why we create compulsive patterns of behaviour in the first place
- to let go of them
- to create the meaningful and joyful life that we actually seek
