With Kadam Mark Decker.
Opening our heart to others and letting the love flow becomes natural and easy when we can stop being so hung up on ourselves. In Buddhism, wisdom and compassion are said to be like 2 wings of a bird — our wisdom realizing the dream-like nature of our self and our compassion reaching out to others complement each other, flying us to the city of fulfillment and joy.
In this course, through a combination of teachings and guided meditations, Kadam Mark will explain to open our heart and deepen our wisdom, both at the same time!
This is sure to give you food for thought and put a smile on your face.
Kadam Mark Decker is a long-term student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. Kadam Mark has been studying, practising and teaching Kadampa Buddhism for 25 years in the UK, Croatia and Denmark.
He has engaged in many meditation retreats. He has also been deeply involved in the translation of many of Geshe-la’s books to Croatian.
Kadam Mark is known by his students for his approachability, deeply insightful and inspiring teachings, and his love for meditation and exploring the meaning of the teachings through discussion. We feel extremely fortunate to be able to benefit from Kadam Mark’s wealth of practical meditative experience here in Southampton while Gen Lekma is away in the States.
From today's workshop: Kadam Mark Decker explains "What is Dharma?" Our next class "The Art of Meditation" is on Monday 12 Nov at 7pm. Everyone is welcome! https://bit.ly/2OZKK8L
