Stress, irritation, frustration and anger are common experiences in modern life. These painful states of mind can easily arise when we encounter challenging situations and difficult people. If frustration or anger are not recognised early on it becomes a poison that destroys our happiness and interferes with our relationships.
This revealing workshop will introduce several methods for recognising, reducing and finally removing this destructive habit from our mind, helping us to experience the peace and freedom that we all long for.
In this workshop our guest teacher Paul Jenkins will show how Buddhist’s meditations give us proactive methods to transform these painful states of mind so we can live more peaceful lives.
Paul Jenkins is the Resident Teacher at Tara Kadampa Meditation Centre in Derby. He has been practising Buddhist meditation for over 30 years and is a close disciple of the founder of the New Kadampa Tradition Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. Paul is able to explain how to integrate Buddha’s wisdom into daily life, and will describe how to become wiser while trying to bring up children, hold down and job and have a successful and effective meditation practice. We are delighted he is visiting KMC Southampton.
