In each class, Gen Lekma will begin by guiding a relaxation meditation and then will give a talk, emphasising how meditation and Buddhist wisdom can be applied to our life to keep a positive mind. She will then guide another 2 meditations based on the instructions. After the class free light refreshments will be served.
Everyone is welcome. Suitable to all levels of meditation experience.
This course will be based on ‘The New 8 Steps to Happiness’ by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
Gen Lekma is the Resident Teacher at KMC Southampton. She is a senior Buddhist nun with over 25 yrs of meditation experience. She is loved for her light humour and deep understanding of Buddhist meditations.
