Description

Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff Half Day Workshop Sat 26th Sept, 10am to 1pm
Understand what is behind the habit of taking things too seriously that often leads to feelings of hurt and over-sensitivity. Through guided meditations you’ll discover how to let go of unhelpful overthinking and relax with confidence.
About the Workshop
Do you find yourself feeling upset or annoyed by something someone has said?
Do you find it hard to let things go?
This habit of taking things too seriously can lead to a whole host of excessive overthinking, blaming or self-criticism that causes more bad feelings and often destroys any feelings of calm and wellbeing.
Even if you are aware that this way of thinking is unhelpful and probably untrue, it is hard to let go of these habits. In order to not take things so seriously, you will need to look more deeply at the cause of the feelings of hurt or over-sensitivity.
In this half day course Anne Lamerton will explain how to look at situations from a more constructive viewpoint. She will explain and guide meditation methods that allow you to let go of unhelpful overthinking, bringing inner calm and confidence.
You’ll learn:
- How to identify the cause of taking things seriously
- Meditations to let go and remain calm
- Wisdom to live with confidence
