In this weekend urban retreat, Gen Lekma will explain and guide powerful meditations that will enable you to relate to yourself and your life in a positive and transformative way.
You will not only experience inner peace, but learn a sequence of powerful meditations that form the foundation for building happiness by changing our thought process. You will discover for yourself in this weekend retreat that there is a ‘happiness formula’ that works.. Each meditation will help you to develop wise reactions and increase your sense of physical and mental well-being in daily life.
These are practical meditation techniques that come from a special sequence of Buddhist instructions called Lamrim. You don’t have to be Buddhist or have any previous experience of meditation to gain benefit from this weekend retreat. Everybody is welcome to join one or both days.

The teacher
Gen Lekma is the Resident Teacher at KMC Southampton. She is a senior Buddhist nun with more than 30 years of teaching and meditation experience and she has taught in England and the United States for much of this time. Her clear, profound and entertaining talks express the path of wisdom and meditation in a way that is ideally suited for people of the modern world. She is greatly cherished by her students for her warm, light and wise example.
