About the class
In this hour class you will be guided in meditations to help you keep a positive view no matter what happens in your life. Learning to be happy is something we can train in by using meditation and Buddhist wisdom.
Taken from the book ‘Eight steps to Happiness’ by meditation master Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, you will discover an extraordinary sequence of meditations to strengthen your inner reserve, see a difficult situation with wisdom and keep a positive and happy mind no matter what you face. Everyone is welcome and you can join at any time.
You will learn:
- Practical meditation methods to feel happier
- Techniques to strengthen the power and resilience of your mind
- How to transform difficult situations
The format
This is a recording of the Monday Happiness Hour. If you would like to watch this class, you must book before 2pm on the Saturday prior to the Sunday.

The teacher
Kelsang Mondrol is a Buddhist nun and meditation teacher. She has been studying and practicing for over 20 years and has a beautiful way of teaching and guiding meditations that makes her much loved and appreciated by students. She studies in our Teaching Training Programme with Gen Lekma.
