About the course

We often allow ourselves to live with a lot of uncontrolled feelings like attachment, frustration, depression and stress. Noticing negative mental habits is key to being able to let them go.

In this 5 week meditation course, Denise will explain Buddha’s teachings giving you the opportunity to identify negativity and understand what prevents you from letting go of bad feelings. With inspiring, guided meditations you will learn how you can prevent the build-up of these painful states and instead cultivate a positive outlook that will help you feel happy and enjoy your life.

You will discover how to:

  • Let go of negative thoughts and feelings
  • Feel happy and confident
  • View your life in a positive way

The teacher

Denise CooperDenise Cooper is a retired childcare social worker. She has been a Kadampa practitioner for 6 years and one of our meditation Teachers for 3 years.  She teaches at our local meditation branch in Locks Heath and sometimes covers general classes at the Centre. She studies at the Teacher Training Programme with Gen Lekma.
