Ocean of Peace Away RetreatSpecial Event: 16th to 20th Feb
In this guided retreat you will be led on a voyage of exploration of your mind through which you can discover your own inner potential for lasting peace and happiness.
About the Retreat
In this five-day guided retreat, Gen Lekma will explain how to use meditation on the mind to experience greater peace, clarity, and wellbeing. Derived from the Buddhist Mahamudra tradition, you will be led on a voyage of exploration of your mind through which you can discover your own inner potential for lasting peace and happiness.
You will also learn about Buddha’s teachings and meditations on the “The Four Seals of Mahamudra”. These are four special insights into reality that will enable you to experience the liberating wisdom of Mahamudra, the true nature of things.
Mahamudra meditations allow you to use the power of wisdom to deeply settle and gather your mind and through this you will experience an ocean of peace within your own mind. This experience is not only one that will give you confidence in your own limitless potential of your mind, but allow you to see how it is possible to liberate yourself from your present limited way of experiencing your life.
You will have the opportunity to explore extraordinary topics such as:
- The peaceful nature of your own mind
- Subtle impermanence (learning to let go of your negative minds)
- The origin of your suffering and how to abandon negative minds
- The practice of meditation and the path to true happiness
- Realizing the liberating wisdom of ultimate truth, emptiness
This away retreat in the peaceful, extremely comfortable and beautiful setting of Nagarjuna Kadampa Meditation Centre in Northampton will allow you to completely relax, allow yourself to gather inwards and enjoy the ocean of peace within your own mind.
Due to the powerful, yet simple Mahamudra meditations even beginners will find this retreat accessible and enjoyable.
