About the Open day

Are you curious about meditation? Would you like to learn how to meditate and what the goal is?

We welcome everyone on this open day to come along, discover what meditation is all about and try one or all of the FREE 15-minute meditations.

Gen Leksang, Buddhist nun and resident teacher of KMC will give an introduction to meditation and explain the basic principles of meditation including the benefits of meditation.

This will be followed by five free 15 min meditations.

The teacher

Gen Kelsang Leksang, she has been an ordained Buddhist nun for over 20 years. She has been studying under the guidance of the meditation master Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for over 20 years and has been the resident teacher at KMC Birmingham in 2007.

Known for her caring and positive manner, she has the ability to inspire people to improve their own lives by showing how Buddha’s teachings are relevant to the experiences of modern-day people.
