Petersfield – Overcome Stress & Anxiety Half Day Workshop: Sat 1st Oct
Learn how Buddhist meditation can help you understand what causes anxiety and stress and how these simple meditation techniques can help you gain confidence in dealing with anxiety and stressful situations.
About the course
Stress, anxiety and worry are endemic in our busy, fast paced life. It is hard to give yourself the time and space needed to relax and let go of the thoughts that cause our anxiety. Once anxiety is arisen in its full force, it is hard to know what to do and how to cope with it.
In this workshop, Gen Lekma will use Buddha’s extraordinary understanding of the mind to help you discover the inner causes of anxiety and what you can do both to prevent it from arising and dealing with it once it has arisen. By training in simple meditation techniques you will gain confidence in dealing with anxiety and stressful situations.
You will learn:
- How to protect yourself from anxiety and stress
- What to do when anxiety arises
- How to create a future free from anxiety and worry
