Romsey – Let Negativity Go With Meditation Thursdays
Looking for meditation in Romsey? We offer drop-in meditation classes suitable for all levels of experience.
About the course
We often allow ourselves to live with a lot of uncontrolled feelings like attachment, frustration, depression and stress. Noticing negative mental habits is key to being able to let them go.
In this 4 week course, Gail will explain Buddha’s teachings giving you the opportunity to identify negativity and understand what prevents you from letting go of bad feelings. With inspiring, guided meditations you will learn how you can prevent the build-up of these painful states and instead cultivate a positive outlook that will help you feel happy and enjoy your life.
You will discover how to:
- Let go of negative thoughts and feelings
- Feel happy and confident
- View your life in a positive way
Gail Mott is an experienced Kadampa practitioner who has been teaching meditation for 7 years. Her interest in the use of Modern Buddhism meditation practices to support mental health and well-being has been founded on over 30 years of professional experiences within both the Education and NHS Mental Health sectors.
Gail studies under the guidance of Gen Lekma in our Teaching Training Programme, and her ability to bring into her teachings many daily examples that we easily relate to, make the sessions engaging and enjoyable.
