Meditations to Transform Difficulties

4 week online meditation course | From 25th March to 15th April

Thursdays 7:30-8:30pm

Live-streamed from Wickham Wellness Studio – plus available on demand for 7 Days.

There is a great deal more to Buddhist meditation than just breathing. By training the mind in meditation you can learn to transform the way you view difficulties in more constructive ways. Rather than getting annoyed, upset or negative, which will ultimately make you miserable, you can learn to increase good habits of mind that will bring you happiness.

In this 4 week course you will learn practical meditation methods that you can bring into your everyday life, enabling you to increase your capacity to enjoy your life and remain happy with others, even when they are tricky!

You will learn:

  • How to improve the way you relate to others
  • How to choose happiness, not conflict
  • How you can transform difficulties and strengthen your good qualities

Teachings and meditations will be taken from the  book ‘New Eight Steps to Happiness’.

£36 for whole course or drop in £10 per class | This course is not included in our Memberships.

I began my meditation journey about 8 years ago, just wanting to feel happier, calmer and less reactive. I quickly began to experience the peaceful effect of regular meditation, and I found myself being more patient with my children and more tolerant with others!

It became clear to me that I wanted to share the benefits of Buddhist meditation (and you don’t need to be Buddhist to benefit!) so about five years ago, I became one of the teachers at the Kadampa Meditation Centre in Southampton. Since then I have taught regular classes and courses both in Southampton and Winchester.

Alongside teaching I work at the Kadampa Meditation Centre with the marketing team and in my spare time enjoy my family and 2 black labs!
